8 AWG MC4 Cable Extensions
In accordance with US electrical codes, the max current for circuits utilizing 8 gauge wire is 55 Amps. However, 8 gauge copper wire is capable of handling much higher currents. There is something called fusing current, the current at which a wire will melt. For 8 gauge copper, it is about 300 Amps. This Cables may be used to extend one wire to another MC4 connection or cut in half to extend both positive and negative to normal wire connections.
